Is there any limit to the port length in an imap url?

My email server is configured at port 52003. If I use this url:

imaps://llistes.generatech.org:52003

I get an error about not being a valid url. On the other hand, if I use 

imaps://llistes.generatech.org:5200

I get connection refused.

Could it be the port length?
