Hi Kevin,
The 4GB scan limit is a technical limitation based on the buffer offset variable \
types used throughout libclamav. For some file types, the actual internal limit is \
even lower, likely around 2GB. We've been slowly working on making these types more \
consistent – but haven't been able to do a comprehensive update to get around the \
2GB/4GB size barrier.
