Pardon if this is a duplicate of previous posts...
See the last item in the next section. Anyone going to make a serious
attempt at this?

So you can't make it to the DEF CON III? Here is what you can do to
participate from afar, via a phone or the net. Meet other people and
have a good time all weekend!
[> The Voice bridge at (801) 855-3326 will have other people from all over
who couldn't make it but instead will have a virtual conference of their
own. A line from the convention center will be connected.
CALL THE BRIDGE FROM YOUR LOCAL 2600 Meeting.
[> The web page http://www.defcon.org/ is finally up and working, thanks
to Mark Lottor over at Network Wizards. CHECK HERE FOR THE CuSeeMe
reflector site address, pick up automatic digitized images from the
conventions cameras, and last minute changes in information.
[> Join #defcon to chat with people on the local network.
[> Join the IPhone channel to chat with people over the network.
[> FTP the latest CuSeeMe software for your os and view the speakers live.
Pick up audio and video, as well as feeds from our second camera.
The reflector site address will be posted to alt.2600, the web page
at http://www.defcon.org/ and announced over the def con mailing list.
[> Call into the convention area and ask questions or chat with others.
Call the Tropicana in Las Vegas and ask for the line into DEF CON.

[> Try and hack the Secure Computing sidewinder. $ 5,000 prize, and you
can do it from home. It will be at defcon.org (Which goes active
Thursday the 4th)

interesting "hacker conference."

These are the speakers currently listed. If they are not listed here

get ahold of them and assume they are not showing up.

it won't make a difference.
